New Patient Checks
All new patients are invited to have an initial health check to enable us to obtain details of past medical problems and provide better care.
A full family planning service is offered by the Practice including the fitting of coils and contraceptive implants. Advice on family planning matters is available from the Doctors during normal surgery. For urgent advice on the morning after pill please telephone Brocklehurst Pharmacy on Willerby Road (Tel No 352075) or Wold Road (Tel No. 572659).
Childhood immunisation and vaccination clinic - held every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays by Sisters Jackie Burnett and Heidi Teyen. Appointments will be sent by the Vaccination & Immunisation Team at Victoria House for parents to attend with their children. Please let us know if you cannot attend and we can rebook your appointment easily.
Held by Dr Cassim/Dr Tufail, the practice is fully equipped to undertake a wide range of surgical procedures, providing a convenient option that enables patients to avoid the delays frequently encountered at hospitals.

Well Person Check
For patients who would like general health check, an appointment can be arranged for this service with one of our Practice Nurses.
Cancer Care Service
Following an initial cancer diagnosis, we aim to provide the continuing care and support that you want. Carol and Christine have knowledge of the support services available.
The Practice Nursing Team advise on travel immunisation and general health matters. They offer chronic disease management, cervical smears, ear syringing and blood pressure checks, family planning, blood tests, ECG's etc. They also assist the doctors with minor surgery. The Practice Nursing Team is also available for advice on many health related matters - providing an alternative to an appointment with the GP.
The District Nursing Teams come into the Practice most days and liaise closely with the doctors, when problems are discussed and treatment plans worked out.
Your Health Visitors are able to advise on general health matters. They are particularly concerned with children below the age of 5 years. They are also available for "crisis" visits. The Health Visitors are now based at the Calvert Health Care Centre, Calvert Lane, Hull.
Non-NHS Medical Services
Medical examinations for life assurance, employment purposes, public services vehicle and heavy goods licensing are available by special appointment.
