The Community Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) service provides specialist advice and treatment for ENT conditions. The ENT specialist doctor who sees you will aim to diagnose your condition, arrange any investigations you may need and provide treatment if necessary.

How can we help you?

The clinic sees people with:

  • Blocked or runny noses
  • Sinus problems
  • Hearing problems
  • Throat discomfort
  • Recurrent nose bleeds
  • Balance problems
  • Voice problems
  • Ear problems

If your condition requires an operation or further specialist management or treatment the ENT specialist doctor will discuss this with you at your appointment and you will be referred to a hospital of your choice.

How to access the service

You will need to be referred by your GP to this service. They will contact us and a member of our team will contact you to arrange your appointment.

What happens at the appointment?

Patients should bring a list of current medications to the appointment. You will be seen by an ENT specialist doctor who will assess your condition and recommend treatment or a management plan for your needs.
